TNOYS
keeps its members, as well as other interested persons, up to date on
current issues and information through a variety of information sharing
services, including newsletters, regular mailings and emails, and
publications.
- Tex-Net News: The TNOYS
newsletter, 16-18 pages, is published quarterly; approximately 500 copies of
each issue are distributed to members, subscribers, DFPS and regional
CPS office employees, and other youth advocates.
- RHY Currents:
The 10-14 page newsletter is published quarterly for the Southwest
Network of Youth Services and Mountain Plains Network for Youth, and
is distributed to over 300 youth service programs in the two regions
(11 states).
- News 4 Us: This
newsletter is published quarterly and distributed to over 3,000 youth
in the Preparation for Adult Living (PAL) Program; a self-esteem and
skills building program for youth in foster care in Texas. Youth
are actively involved in creating this newsletter.
- Community
Connections Bulletin: This bulletin shares best practices
and other information for CYD programs.
- TNOYS Membership
Directory: Distributed to members, the directory contains
information on TNOYS and its member agencies and their services.
A list of our members can also be found on our online Membership
Directory page.
- Mailings/Emails: Members
receive regular mailings or email announcements concerning training
opportunities, funding, legislative and policy updates, and other
information.
- Resource
Library: The library, containing over 900 items, is updated
regularly with new research, reports, training videos, and other
products of interest to youth service providers. Members receive
periodic descriptions of new and popular listings, and regularly
utilize these materials on a free loan basis
